underwater frolics

I got lots of underwater images with my mates amazing camera. Started off just experimenting and trying to get the stuff I wanted to show up clear. Found it hard to take images whilst trying to hold your breath and sink to the bottom of the pool!!! My fav is the foot image. purely because of the water movements. also like the portrait image as it took so long to get the timing right.
Inspiration by the blog Hugh showed us... his name escapes me at the mo so will post again later when my brain is in gear!
Hugh- as I did 4 images can I have 4 days off?!?!? yeah right! lol

wicky woo! this has serious potential. maybe it would be cool to control the lighting, i.e turn off the lights in the room, set up some flashes on the poolside! however this could prove to be enormously dangerous! so dont do it just because I told you to x

Awesome piccys... the foot one is uber cool but I love the one before it... I like the framing and abstractyness to it .... how much for a print? lol

I'm willing to do print swaps! lol
Lighting was a pain Joe but I also took them all without the pool knowing. Not supposed to take pictures in the pool but as it was a canoe practice I just sorta went for it. Think it would give the game away to stroll in with lights and flashes! also underwater camera doesn't have the right flash adapters.... basically i had to work with what I had which is annoying but I don't have the money to hire a pool with an underwater viewing gallery thing... oh things always get so complicated!
And thanks kirsty if u ever wanna do underwater pictures let me know!!!! (and use a digital camera)
